Electrostatic Precipitators This filtration system cleans the air of virtually all airborne particulate contaminants; wet or dry in nature from 0.1 micron to 100 microns in size. Included in this range are respirable fraction particles (0.1 to 10 microns) that are the most damaging to human lungs. This makes such filters advantageous against filters, baghouses or others. Electrostatic precipitators additionally offer little internal resistance, which makes them economical from the ventilators pressure rating point of view.
